FAQ
Questions people ask before they call
If your question is not here, call the office. Nobody is going to put you through a script.
Frequently asked questions
- How fast can I get results?
- Same day results are available on many tests. Turnaround depends on the test type and the laboratory queue, so ask when you schedule and the office will tell you what is realistic for your situation rather than guessing.
- Do you do the remediation too?
- No, and that is intentional. We test and report. A company that both diagnoses the problem and sells you the cleanup has an obvious conflict of interest. Our findings go to whichever contractor you choose.
- Will my insurance carrier accept your report?
- Our reports are written for exactly that audience: photographs, sample locations, accredited laboratory results and a plain-language summary of findings. Contractors and adjusters work from them regularly.
- What does a visit cost?
- Pricing depends on the number of samples and the size of the property, so the office quotes it once we understand the scope. Tell us what happened and roughly how large the area is, and you will get a real number rather than a range.
- How long does an inspection take?
- A focused single-room mold assessment is usually under an hour on site. A full pre-renovation asbestos survey of a commercial building takes considerably longer. Laboratory analysis is separate from the site visit.
- Do I need to leave the property during testing?
- Usually not. Air sampling runs for a set period with normal doors and windows closed, and most homeowners simply stay out of the specific room being sampled.
- Which areas do you cover?
- Southern Nevada including Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, Summerlin, Paradise, Enterprise, Green Valley, Boulder City and Pahrump, plus northwest Arizona including Kingman, Lake Havasu City, Bullhead City, Mohave Valley and Parker.
- Can you test before I buy a property?
- Yes. Pre-purchase testing is one of the most common reasons people call, particularly for older homes where asbestos, lead or a past water event is a real possibility.

Not sure which test you need? Describe what happened.
Tell us what you are seeing, smelling or worried about and the office will tell you exactly what testing makes sense. No pressure, no upsell to a remediation crew, because we do not sell remediation.
